This policy explains what information QuoteCheck collects when you use the service, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and, if you provide them, your name, company name and country.
- Quote data: the projects, cost lines, uncertainty ranges and settings you enter, and the analyses calculated from them.
- Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and plan status; we never see or store your full card details.
How we use it
- To provide the service: store your quotes and run your analyses.
- To manage your account, subscription and billing.
- To respond to support requests and keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
- Supabase hosts our database and authentication. Access to your quotes is restricted to your account by row-level security.
- Stripe processes subscription payments.
- OpenAI: only when you choose to generate an AI Risk Review, the calculated metrics of that quote (not your account details) are sent to OpenAI to produce the written review.
- Vercel hosts the application.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your quotes and your account data from Settings at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Most of this can be done directly in the app.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
